Cootharaba Studio is located in Brisbane, Queensland and is the home base from which Joan and Len create their works of art. This is a working studio and gallery providing an inspirational environment for Joan and Len students and public.
Joan is well known for her spectacular oil paintings many of which depict locations in Australia’s vast and beautiful interior. Material has been gleaned on many of Joan’s and Len’s travels throughout Australia.
Len draws upon his unique knowledge of colour and form to create beautiful lead lights, lamps and a wide verity of warm glass pieces from hanging works, three dimensional sculptures and functional glass objects.
