Exhibition “Dogwood Crossing” Miles. Qld

Joan and Len have been requested by the Western Downs Regional Council to present an exhibition of their art at Dogwood Crossing Regional Art Gallery, Miles.  The facility is an A Class Regional Gallery and is owned by the Western Downs Regional Council.

This exhibition will be another in the series “Essence of Australia – “ to be titled “Essence of Australia – Little Gems” and will feature hanging works by Joan and warm glass sculptures created by Len.  The work will be displayed in the “Tree Hall” and on the “Curved Wall” in the foyer area of the gallery. It will coincide with the Community exhibition “Lost and Found” to be presented in the John Mullins Memorial Art Gallery.

Opening night Friday 30 November at 6.30pm and continuing to 3 January 2013.  This will be a great opportunity to do a little Christmas shopping.

Thank you to the Western Downs Regional Council, the committee and staff at the Dogwood Crossing Regional Art Gallery for assisting to make this exhibition the great success it was.  The work both hanging and warm glass was well received by all who attended the gallery with many positive and supportive comments.

The Council has been kind enough to again invite Joan and Len to mount a further exhibition on the Curved Wall  and the Tree Hall exhibition space in September 2014.

Keep watching this space for further information
